- Fayetteville High School Students raise $13,000 for homeless students at an all-night vigil.
- Local artist, Kelly Wilks of Flat Rock Studios brought “Empty Bowl” fundraiser to Fayetteville to help the homeless by making pottery. She challenged several friends to make 500 bowls for the soup dinner fundraiser.
